Community Partner Event: Workforce Wednesdays
Looking for help finding or preparing for a new career? Are you anxiously practicing for an interview or not sure how to structure your resume? Tri-Parish Works, the local public workforce agency that provides employment and training services to St. Tammany, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines Parishes is hosting Workforce Wednesdays at the Northshore Prosperity Center in Covington!
Meet with a Career Specialist for job search and referrals, development and employer connections, resume guidance, career coaching and so much more every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.! They also offer free online courses and support services, even when you are in training at a new job! All these services are available at the Northshore Prosperity Center, located at 834 N Columbia Street here in Covington. Tri-Parish Works would like to acknowledge their valued partners United Way of Southeast Louisiana, opens a new window for generously providing the space for the workshops.

*College Student Center by EBSCO Learning Express - use this resource to prepare for graduate school admissions exams. Materials include practice tests and exercises for the GRE, MCAT, and LSAT with practice materials to help you brush up on your math, grammar, reading, and writing skills.
*Gale Courses- offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
Homework Louisiana- Offers job search assistance 7 days a week, including: online job search and applications; resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, as well as drop-off cover letter and resume review.
