Well before you begin, you can check out a few free resources the library has to help you to succeed. One resource to check out is the database Learning Express Library. With Learning Express Library students can look at test preparation eBooks, and take practice tests for a variety of college preparation and admissions exams. These tests include: ACT, SAT, PSAT, IELTS and even help with college admissions essays. Learning Express Library also has reviews and preparation materials for the GRE and CLEP exams for those students looking to get their master's. Another resource the library has is the eBook and eAudiobook database OverDrive. With OverDrive students can look up test prep eBooks to help them with several admissions tests. Tests like MCAT, GRE, and help with law school essays are also available for graduate-level admissions. The library also subscribes to the Homework Louisiana database. With this database students can get homework help and tutoring for kindergarten through basic college level classes. Additionally, Homework Louisiana offers a writing center that offer tips to improve writing.
