Ashleigh D’Addezio of One Village Media will present tips and tricks for social media users to help beginners and business owners navigate the platforms and stay safe while staying connected from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on three March Mondays at the Slidell Branch:
- March 16 - This introductory class is geared towards social media beginners who are unsure of where to start.
- March 23 - Adults will learn how to keep their account secure (including good passwords, two-factor authentication, etc.), ways to spot a scammer, common online scams and what to do if an account has been compromised.
- March 30 - Business owners will learn basic marketing tips, how-tos on the most commonly used social media platforms, giving social profiles a clean and sophisticated look, advertising methods, and more.
One Village Media won Northshore's Best award for "Best Advertising Agency" in east St. Tammany from Sophisticated Woman in 2019.
The events are free and open to the public. Seating space is limited to adults. Registration is encouraged. Register online or call the hosting library at 646-6470 to register.
