Free Tax Filing for Those with Incomes Below $66,000

Did you know that you can file your taxes for free if you make less than $66,000 a year? Yes, you can! My Free Taxes is a free income tax preparation program that's available online. A collaboration between United Way Worldwide and H&R Block, taxpayers can prepare their own returns from the comfort and convenience of their home or office using H&R Block software.  Filers can prepare one federal and up to 3 state returns at myfreetaxes.com.  

Need help filing online? Email info@myfreetaxes.com or call 1-855-MY-TX-HELP (1-855-698-9435). Assistance is available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Once again, this service is completely free for those with incomes under $66,000.
