This summer kids who completed their Summer Reading Log were entered into a weekly prize drawing. Prizes differed from week to week, but at the Slidell Branch weekly winners also got a chance to become Junior Librarians!
Weekly winners got a behind-the-scenes tour of the branch where they learned how books are checked in, sorted, repaired, processed for holds and much more! Junior Librarians also had the opportunity to check out and stamp their own books.
Ms. Jen is excited about a new generation of librarians and grateful for the extra help!
