A Madea Christmas will be showing from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, December 16, at the Slidell Branch. Madea dispenses her unique form of holiday spirit on a rural town when she is coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas.

Christmas in Connecticut will be showing from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, at the Causeway Branch. A food writer who has lied about being the perfect housewife must try to cover her deception when her boss and a returning war hero invite themselves to her home for a traditional family Christmas.
