Calling all kids and teens! Do you want to surprise your parents, grandparents, siblings, and loved ones with an awesome gift this holiday season? Children and teens are invited to "shop" through our selection of new paperback books, free of charge! Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of books for all ages and interests. The East and West TVC (Teen Volunteer Council) will be onsite to offer free gift wrapping. Cookies & cocoa will be served*.
This event will be offered on two dates at two different locations. The first event will be held at the Slidell Branch on Thursday, December 5th, from 5:00-7:30pm. The second event will be held at the Madisonville Branch from 2:00-4:30pm on Saturday, December 7th. Kids and teens are welcome to drop in anytime during the event to do their shopping, though is is recommended you arrive at least 30 minutes before the end of the event to ensure time for gift wrapping.
Please inform us of any food allergies at least one week in advance. We are happy to make accommodations for you. Children ages 9 and under may not be left unattended at any branch of St. Tammany Parish Library.
