Library Will Reopen When Patrons Can Be Served Safely

Due to the COVID-19 national emergency, all St. Tammany Parish Library branches will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, to slow the spread of the virus. We will reopen when we can serve our patrons safely.

Library fines will not be charged for the next 30 days. During the time that the library is closed, we ask that patrons do not return any library items that are checked out.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus called "SARS-CoV-2."

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published information on their website which provides details about the illness including how the disease spreads, the symptoms, prevention and treatment. The CDC's main summary page on COVID-19 can be found here.
