We have long offered a Winter Reading Challenge for our younger patrons, but this year we are holding our first challenge for adults!
From January 1 to January 31, the library will participate in Beanstack’s Fourth Annual Winter Reading Challenge, “Book Like Us,” sponsored by Simon and Schuster. We challenge our adult patrons to read at least 360 minutes during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site.
Prizes will include book collections and virtual author visits. Ten winning schools or libraries will each get a collection of 50 books from the “Books Like Us” collection. If you are on social media use of the hashtag #WinterRead2021 and #BooksLikeUs to help our library system win a virtual author visit. Happy reading, St. Tammany!
