Join the 2020 STPL Kids' Winter Reading Challenge from Wednesday, December 23, 2020, through Saturday, January 9, 2021.
This challenge is open to children in kindergarten through 8th grade. Your goal is to earn 250 points and virtual badges by logging reading, writing book reviews, and completing other fun activities! Each minute you read is worth 1 point. Special activities are worth 10 or more points!
For this challenge, you are free to read whatever you would like. Fiction, nonfiction, picture books, graphic novels, comics, and magazines all count! It also counts if you listen to audiobooks or if someone else reads to you. If you read to someone else, the time counts for both of you!
Everyone who completes the challenge will become a Winter Reading Champion and win a free paperback prize book to pick up at the library branch of your choice! Two lucky readers will be randomly drawn to win a Kindle Fire!
