Hosts the Great Decisions discussion groups at the Madisonville, South Slidell, and Causeway Branches.

Provides free tax preparation assistance at the Covington and Madisonville Branches during Tax Season.

Provides training to staff so that they can provide hands-on learning activities for children and teens based on Louisiana animals and fish at the Library.
Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities
Has given grants for PRIME TIME Family Literacy and various adult book discussion programs.
Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, Dept of Archaeology
Presents programs and hands-on learning activities for children, teens, and adults.
Louisiana State Bar Association/Legal Education and Assistance Program
Presents Lawyers in Libraries, Law Talks programs, and free legal help at branches.
LSU AgCenter
Provides hands-on learning activities for children at the Library, presents nutrition/STEM workshops for teens, Master Gardeners maintains garden beds at some branches, Master Gardeners presents programs for adults, Master Gardeners works with Home School 4H Club in Slidell to maintain a garden bed at the Slidell branch.
Metro Centers for Community Advocacy
Presents table talks during Sexual Assault Awareness Month for adults, and presents programs for teens on dating safety and healthy relationships.

Holds adopt-a-thons at Library events, the Library also donates old newspapers for kennels, and books for children to read to shelter pets.
